I Heart Revolution – Donut Tray – Review and Swatches

I Heart Revolution – Donut Tray – Review and Swatches

The I Heart Revolution Donut Tray was a limited edition set for Christmas 2019. It cost £30 at full price. It is vegan and cruelty-free.  It’s not currently available on the Revolution website but is still currently on sale at Superdrug.
I have seen it on sale for less, at £30 it’s not the best value, as the regular donut palettes cost £5 each. So let’s see what’s inside.

KVD Beauty loses the Kat

KVD Beauty loses the Kat

I’ve honestly been trying to think of a funny title for ages but I ended up with that one, so I guess we’ll all have to deal with that. Happy New Year and Happy Luna New Year.

I didn’t think I’d be talking about Kat Von D again. The brand was dead to me and to a lot of other people. The only time I would mention the brand was in my Project Pan’s as I was trying to use them up. If you’re out of the loop I wrote a post here on why I’d not purchase the brand again. Then 2020 rolls around and as has already happened several times with the start of this year we have a curveball.

Rolling Project Pan 2020 Introduction – Lime Crime Pocket Candy Sugar Plum

Rolling Project Pan 2020 Introduction – Lime Crime Pocket Candy Sugar Plum

Welcome to the introduction to my Rolling Project. It’s the same rules as last time. I take a palette, use it until I hit pan on one of the shades and then pick another (well the one you pick). It’s that simple. It means I can move slightly quicker through my collection and reduces boredom.

I’m putting this up to let you know I’m taking a short break from Blogging. I’ll be back in January on the 14th. This is for a number of reasons and if you’re interested, do keep reading.

5 by 5 Nail Polish Project Pan

5 by 5 Nail Polish Project Pan

With Christmas around the corner, it’s time to look to the next year and starting up my new project pans. I’ve decided to do a few, this one is the 5 by 5 project pan.

The basic rules of this Project pan are to pick 5 polishes and use them for 5 months. I’ve added a few rules of my own to help me use my collection.
I’m going to pick, one holographic polish, one cream polish, one topper, one metallic and one free choice.
I also want to choose in a theme so all the polishes work together in some form. It’ll help me use them up.

Harry Potter Dark Arts Colour Illusion Lipstick – Review and Swatches (Deathly Hallows)

Harry Potter Dark Arts Colour Illusion Lipstick – Review and Swatches (Deathly Hallows)

The Harry Potter Dark Art Colour Illusion Lipstick set costs £8.50 from Boots. The set contains 3 lipsticks each with 3g of product. They have a 24-month shelf after opening. Again I’m not assured of the cruelty-free status because I do not know who actually makes these. They’re not marked as vegan but only contain a couple of ingredients that might not be, so if you’re vegan it might be better to pass.

Want a breath-taking look? Beneath the dramatically dark appearance of the HARRY POTTER™ DARK ARTS™ Colour Illusion Lipstick, lies a bold shade of red, purple or orange.
