The Harry Potter Dark Art Colour Illusion Lipstick set costs £8.50 from Boots. The set contains 3 lipsticks each with 3g of product. They have a 24-month shelf after opening. Again I’m not assured of the cruelty-free status because I do not know who actually makes these. They’re not marked as vegan but only contain a couple of ingredients that might not be, so if you’re vegan it might be better to pass.

The first thing you’ll notice Dark Art Lipsticks are triangular. It’s one thing that looks good but also makes them quite hard to apply.
They apply really well from a brush and look good. They also stain, which you may or may not like.
The bullets themselves look very very dark red and as part of the colour change illusion change to different colours when applied to the lips.
While the base does have information on it does not list which colour is which. Now given they look the same in the tube, this is a bit of an issue.
The cases themselves are matte black with gloss markings. There’s two with repeated Deathly Hallows symbols on one side and the other just has the one. If you have a favourite colour, I’d personally just switch the lid to the single Hallows mark.
With no names, you’d hope it’d be fairly obvious which one is which but…
There’s supposed to be one orange, one red and one purple. Instead, we have two pinks and one red. The deeper pink can pull red quite easily with two layers but the one that’s supposed to be purple really is pink.
Other than that I like them. They’re lovely colours and I like the staining.
