Mermaids vs Unicorns vs Dragons Heart Part 4 – Lipglosses Review and Swatches – Fantasy, Dragon Lord, Siren, Deepsea and Immortal

The I Heart Revolution Lipglossses cost £3 each. They are vegan and cruelty-free. They have 2,2g of product and a 12-month shelf life once opened. You can get them at Superdrug or Revolution.

A little while back I bought five of the ‘glosses’ from I Heart Revolution.

They’re not a gloss. It’s a liquid lipstick that dries down. The only thing kind of gloss like is the finish, as it dries with an exceptionally high shine and gives the appearance of gloss on the lips. They’re also incredibly drying. When it comes to long-wear lipsticks, I’ve found that people have very different reactions to how they dry down. These for me are very uncomfortable and drying.
You can, of course, layer them over lipstick but really I didn’t find it did much other than making my lipstick feel drying too! They’re also vanilla scented but I didn’t really notice the fragrance on my lips.

So if that hasn’t put you off let’s look a the colours I got.

  • Fantasy is a lilac foil finish colour
  • Dragon Lord is a purple with a slight blue shift in the shimmer
  • Siren is a forest green shimmer
  • Deepsea is a shimmering blue
  • Immortal is a dark coral with a high shine

If you think you might like these, you can get them for £3 from Revolution.
