Welcome to the introduction to my 2020 Project Pan. This means I’ll be taking a palette and using it up. The aim is to try and use it all in this year but of course, can rollover.
I’ve honestly been trying to think of a funny title for ages but I ended up with that one, so I guess we’ll all have to deal with that. Happy New Year and Happy Luna New Year.
I didn’t think I’d be talking about Kat Von D again. The brand was dead to me and to a lot of other people. The only time I would mention the brand was in my Project Pan’s as I was trying to use them up. If you’re out of the loop I wrote a post here on why I’d not purchase the brand again. Then 2020 rolls around and as has already happened several times with the start of this year we have a curveball.
Welcome to the introduction to my Rolling Project. It’s the same rules as last time. I take a palette, use it until I hit pan on one of the shades and then pick another (well the one you pick). It’s that simple. It means I can move slightly quicker through my collection and reduces boredom.
By the time this post goes up, it’ll be Christmas Eve here. If you celebrate it Merry Christmas and if you don’t I hope you have a good day anyway. I’m putting this up to let you know I’m taking a short break from Blogging. I’ll be back in January on the 14th. This is for a number of reasons and if you’re interested, do keep reading.
With Christmas around the corner, it’s time to look to the next year and starting up my new project pans. I’ve decided to do a few, this one is the 5 by 5 project pan.
The basic rules of this Project pan are to pick 5 polishes and use them for 5 months. I’ve added a few rules of my own to help me use my collection.
I’m going to pick, one holographic polish, one cream polish, one topper, one metallic and one free choice.
I also want to choose in a theme so all the polishes work together in some form. It’ll help me use them up.
The Frosted Daze and Holly Daze sets cost $21 each from Lime Crime or £17 from UK Suppliers. They have three mini Velvetines shades with 1.7 ml each. They are vegan and cruelty-free.
Try us under the mistletoe and pucker up in the limited-edition mini Velvetines sets. Included are classic holiday hues – ranging from a festive pop of metallic finish along with 2 matte liquid lippies. The glittery ornament with window display adds the extra touch of holiday sparkle to come your way.
The new limited edition Venus XS palettes cost $20 each from Lime Crime. They have 1.78g (definitely a typo on the Lime Crime website as that states 78g) of product and a 24-month shelf life once opened. They are vegan and cruelty-free.
‘Tis the season to introduce our limited-edition Holiday Venus XS mini-quad palettes. A glimmering array of greens, blues, and pinks; truth be told – you’ll want them all! Four all-new shades in two finishes – with the same ethereal consistency as the rest of the Venus family, the two buttery smooth matte shades are effortlessly pigmented while two lush shimmers brilliantly shine. Each showstopping glitter-trimmed palette features a radiantly glowing monochromatic color story, they’re all magically divine!
The Blazin’ Holiday Lip Set costs $21 from Lime Crime or £17 from UK suppliers. Each set contains 3 mini Lip Blazes with 1.7 ml each. They’re vegan and cruelty-free.
Our mini limited-edition Lip Blaze has everyone jingling around – feeling real good with a real universal shade range. Get a naked lip look and feel with our buttery, high-drating formula infused with top-shelf cannabis sativa seed oil.
The Harry Potter Dark Art Colour Illusion Lipstick set costs £8.50 from Boots. The set contains 3 lipsticks each with 3g of product. They have a 24-month shelf after opening. Again I’m not assured of the cruelty-free status because I do not know who actually makes these. They’re not marked as vegan but only contain a couple of ingredients that might not be, so if you’re vegan it might be better to pass.
Want a breath-taking look? Beneath the dramatically dark appearance of the HARRY POTTER™ DARK ARTS™ Colour Illusion Lipstick, lies a bold shade of red, purple or orange.
It’s coming to the end of the year. I’m going to stop doing these collection posts on here and add them to my Youtube videos. Yes, I’ll be back. So without further ado let’s look at the numbers for this month.
