I love the formula of Jeffree Star’s Velour liquid lipsticks. I still feel they’re some of the best formulas on the market. They cost £16 from UK Suppliers or $18 from Jeffree’s website.

I find all of these long-lasting, very comfortable to wear and they don’t overemphasise my lip texture. I do think these are well worth the cost. Today we’re looking at 5 of the more nude shades, Celebrity skin, Posh Spice, Androgyny, Scorpio and Dominatrix.

Jeffree-Star-all

Celebrity Skin is a pinky nude on me. He calls it a soft brown with a peach undertone and I can totally see it. I like this as a nude on me.

Next up os Posh Spice. This is your griege shade with a hint of taupe. I like it but the grey bit seems to get lost on me. I like this for when I want a lipstick that makes me look dead on the outside too.

Androgyny is the shade of my dreams. Slightly grey, slightly plum and suits me so well. I adore this colour.

Jeffree-Star-Androgyny-Swatch

Scorpio is a grey-toned purple that I love. I have a few issues with coverage with this colour as you can see but I do love it. A second layer clears that up but does make it a little bit drying.

Jeffree-Star-Scorpio-Swatch

Dominatrix is a deep chocolate brown. It’s a stunning colour on the lips. Dark but warm for when you need a dark colour that isn’t black. I found this one to be a little dryer in the formula but not on the lips.

They cost £16 from UK Suppliers or $18 from Jeffree’s website. Shipping costs from $8 and increases with the package size. It does not include customs charges so expect an extra £8 and 20% on top of the cost.

Jeffree Star Lip Velour in Unicorn Blood, Hoe Hoe Hoe and Anna Nicole Review

Jeffree Star Lip Velour in Unicorn Blood, Hoe Hoe Hoe and Anna Nicole Review

I love the formula of Jeffree Star’s Velour liquid lipsticks. I still feel they’re some of the best formulas on the market. They cost £16 from UK Suppliers or $18 from Jeffree’s website.

I find all of these long-lasting, not drying at all and doesn’t emphasise my lip texture. I really love these. I think they’re well worth the cost. Today we’re looking at three shades, Unicorn Blood, Hoe Hoe Hoe and Anna Nicole.

Unicorn blood is the first and it’s a deep blood red. I find it doesn’t feather and stays well on the lips with minimal smudging. I do find it does budge a little on cups. I love the deep colour of this and intend to repurchase this soon.

Jeffree-Star-Unicorn-Blood-Swatch

Hoe Hoe Hoe was a limited edition colour. Sadly no longer available since it is one of my favourites. This one is a lot cooler in tone and a lot brighter. It’s also got these amazing blue sparkles in it that you start to see coming through the longer you wear it.

Anna Nicole is a red based orange. It’s a great shade for Autumn and again has not smudging issues. It’s a bold colour but I love it.

Jeffree Star Blow Pony Hand Mirror Review

Jeffree Star Blow Pony Hand Mirror Review

Jeffree Star has more than a few accessories along with his makeup line. One of those things is hand mirrors. I’ve sadly been missing mine since I broke my old Lime Crime mirror. So I decided to invest in one.

I bought mine from Beauty Bay, his UK supplier as shipping from this website is very expensive to the UK and does not come with customs charges covered either. It cost me £22 and postage (the UK term for shipping) was free as it is over £15.

Jeffree-Star-Mirror-Box

This is the box it comes in. It’s Jeffree’s signature pink log and a shiny pink box.

The mirror is securely packaged in a foam surround, to prevent it from breaking in the post. As you can see I chose the Blow Pony Mirror as I am a sucker for purple.

Jeffree-Star-Blow-Pony-Mirror-Side

It’s 11.5 inches long in total, which means it’s definitely big enough to see your whole face. The head of the mirror is, of course, heavier than the handle which makes it feel a little unbalanced to me. Jeffree’s website describes it as mid balanced but I really feel like for this one it’s definitely heavier at the top. It is not heavy though and will be comfortable to hold while you do your makeup.

I really like this mirror for doing my makeup and I don’t think it’s too expensive for the quality. I have actually dropped this and it’s survived without a scratch. It was on a hard floor too.

If you’d like one, you can get yours for £22 at Beauty Bay.

Jeffree-Star-Masochist-Swatch

Masochist is a beautiful cool-toned dark pink. It’s one of my favourite colours. I have no smudging or bleeding issues with this one.

Jeffree-Star-714-Swatch

714 is a very light peach shade. I do not like this one on me. It doesn’t have coverage issues and stays put really well.

Jeffree-Star-Virginity-Swatch

Virginity is very light pink. This has some issues with coverage and is far too light for me.

Jeffree-Star-Prom-Night-Swatch

Prom Knight is bright hot pink. I adore this colour so much. it’s cool undertone too and doesn’t smudge or bleed. It also has no coverage issues.

Jeffree-Star-Queen-Supreme-Swatch

Queen Supreme is a neon pastel pink. While I’m not a fan of this colour on me, it is a great colour with no coverage issues. It also doesn’t bleed or budge.

They cost £16 from UK Suppliers or $18 from Jeffree’s website. Shipping costs from $8 and increases with the package size. It does not include customs charges so expect an extra £8 and 20% on top of the cost.

Today we’re looking at 5 of the more unusual shades, Mistletoe, Dirty Money, Blue Velvet, Abused and Weirdo.

Jeffree-Star-Mistletoe-Swatch

Mistletoe was a limited edition shade which is a primary green colour. This one has great coverage as you can see. It was perfect for the Christmas season

Jeffree-Star-Dirty-Money-Swatch

Dirty Money was one of the first shades and it’s a dirty green colour. If you’re American it’s apparently the same colour as money. I really like this shade on me.

Jeffree-Star-Blue-Velvet-Swatch

Blue Velvet is a bright primary blue. I adore this shade. It has little coverage issues and doesn’t really smudge.

Jeffree-Star-Abused-Swatch

Abused is one of the more controversial shades. It’s a navy blue and could be considered the colour of a bruise. This is not the only reason it’s controversial though. It smells like aniseed and apparently, there is a bruise cream in America that smells like it. Again I like this shade as it’s on the deeper end when black is too much.

Jeffree-Star-Werido-Swatch

Speaking of black meet Weirdo. Despite the picture showing it as shiny (I clearly didn’t let it dry long enough) it’s not. It’s matte black. My little Goth heart loves this shade. It doesn’t smudge or budge.

They cost £16 from UK Suppliers or $18 from Jeffree’s website. Shipping costs from $8 and increases with the package size. It does not include customs charges so expect an extra £8 and 20% on top of the cost.
