So going cruelty-free gave me many thoughts. One of them was how cruelty-free to go and what that meant. So I created a rainbow. Where do you end up?

The Wizarding World Swish and Flick Brush set is available from Boots for £20. It’s part of the Christmas gift sets, so part of the 3 for 2. It is cruelty-free and vegan.
This is a set of Five brushes with handles in the shape of characters wands. The handles are made of metal and quite heavy but as a result, feel-good quality. on a couple of them due to the shape, mostly Voldemorts wand, they can be a little awkward to hold. It’s a minor thing but I think that his wand might have been better for the highlighter as you need to use it less. They’re also duo-fibre, which helps with the blending aspects of the brushes.
So let us look at the wands/brushes.
I like these brushes. They’re sold and good quality. I definitely recommend these for your harry potter fan.
You can get yours at Boots for £20.
As part of their 10th Birthday collection, Lime Crime released several unicorn lipsticks, some of which were new shades. They cost $18 each and are Vegan and Cruelty-Free. They have of 3.5g product and a 12-month self-life on opening.

As part of the Wizarding World releases at Boots there is a set of Makeup Bags in each of the house colours. Of course, being a Slytherin at heart, that’s the one I chose. They cost £10 each but are part of the Mix and Match gift sale.

It’s a great bag but not too large. It measures 9″ by 1.5″ x 7″ . It’ll comfortably fit a Venus Palette along with a blush, mirror and lipstick. It’s nice and thick so will protect your stuff from knocks fairly well. I like it, it feels good quality.
I’m not 100% sold on the design. It looks a little messy to me. I do think the Snake would have been better placed on the back of the bag as that’s plain. That would leave just the corner pieces and house crest on the front. That’s a minor thing though.
If you’d like one, you can get yours at Boots for £10.
This is a style of “full face of” that I haven’t seen yet. That style is brands I am not currently purchasing from due to their Cruelty-Free status or that of their parent company.
So if you’d like to find out who I am not going to purchase from anymore, please click the video above for all the tea. Some brands might surprise you!
Revolutions Skin Kiss in Ice Kiss costs £5 from Revolution Beauty or from your local stockists. It’s Vegan and gluten free.

The packaging has changed from the original reviews, there’s now no longer a mirror just a clear top. The rose gold base is still there. I am a little sad that you can’t get hold of that compact now. This version feels a lot cheaper.

It’s a golden highlighter that slight particles of glitter in it. When you first use this it has a layer on the top and can be quite hard to get a good glow. However once this is gone you can glow greater than the gods to your hearts content.
You can of course make this a more natural glow by being lighter handed as you place it. The only barrier to a lit from within glow can be the glitter contained within. It’s not a huge problem but this one is better saved for your glows days.
I like it inspite of it being more yellow toned (as yellow toned highlighters don’t tend to suit me). It is however huge (130g), so while it’s great value, if you get bored easily this one might not be for you.
If you’d like on you can get it at Revolution Beauty for £5.
The Unicorn Dream Lip Kit costs £6 from Revolution Beauty. This is one of thier many Unicorn themed items. It has a lip pencil and a ‘matching’ lip gloss.

I’m going to show you a couple of swatches. One of just the liner and the other with the gloss on top.

The liner is a soft pruple with golden shimmer. You can not wear this on it’s own sadly, it’s actually quite sticky. It is however a beautiful colour.

The glossis a white based pink shifting gloss. Let’s say this together it’s not holographic. It’s pretty and over the lip liner it looks amazing. I also don’t find it super sticky, which is how I like my glosses.
Overall despite the fact I am not a gloss person I like this lip kit a lot. It’s obviously not going to last all day, although it’s fairly good at that due to the liner. I might even have considered purchasing it again had it been vegan.
If you’d like one you can get it from Revolution Beauty for £6.
