Revolution now has nail polish. Along with the usual cream colours they released a set of neon polishes. I bought two at £4 each. They have 10ml of product and 12-months shelf-life once opened. They are vegan and cruelty-free.
Introducing our line-up of highly pigmented, high gloss NEON nail polishes. One coat is all it takes to achieve a highly-pigmented sweep of colour. Enriched with avocado oil, our unique varnishes help to nourish nails whilst these popping neon shades are guaranteed to garner glances aplenty.
The two colours I bought were Zesty and Zap-tastic.
Zesty is the bright neon yellow of the two. It’s your typical neon yellow. This one for me is not a one coat polish. It’s is however very neon and dries very fast. I didn’t have chipping issues with this one.
Zap-tastic is the green one. It’s nice bright neon green that is opaque in one coat. I have one huge issue with this polish. It really stained my nails, I mean a really obvious green that took a while to fade but never left.
The finish on these isn’t high shine, it’s more of a satin finish. Of course, using a topcoat will definitely change that and I’d recommend it to increase the longevity of the polish.
These are great summer colours and will look fantastic next to a tan. However, they’ll also look great to brighten up your nails in the cold winter months.
I really like these polishes and while I have heard of them having chipping issues, it’s not really something I’ve experienced. That might be because my nails chip daily anyway. A good base coat and top coat will help with that though.
