Adore Nail Polish from MakeUp Revolution Review & Swatch

Adore Nail Polish from MakeUp Revolution Review & Swatch

Adore is a lilac purple from MakeUp Revolution. It costs £1 from the MUR website or from Superdrug.

It’s got the most amazing shine and goes on smoothly. You do need two layers but could easily get away with one, if you’re going to be using a glitter top coat.
Removal is simple and it’s got a good chip resistance.

For the price it is simply an excellent polish.

Model’s Own Hayley’s Comet Nail Polish Review & Swatch

Meet Hayley’s Comet from Models Own. It’s part of the Beetlejuice collection and costs £4.99 from your local high street stockist or their website.

It’s a brown based polish with a myriad of colours in it. My photography skills lack the ability to catch all the colours in this but you can see most of them. There’s blue, pink, green and gold. This shines and changes colour depending on the light and the movement of your hand. It’s so very pretty.

It’s more sheer than opaque and can me used as a top coat if you want to change a colour you don’t really like. If you want it to be opaque you’ll need a good three coats. Dry time is about average depending on the amount you use.

It’s not a glitter polish and removes normally. Wear is good and stands up against chipping.

I like this polish.

MakeUp Academy Jellyfish Nail Polish Review & Swatch

Jellyfish is a glitter nail polish from Makeup Academy’s Mystical Glitter range. It costs just £2.50 from the website or your local Superdrug.

It’s a gorgeous deep plum shade with lost of microfine silver glitter. Because of the microfine glitter, it’s a little difficult to get off. It’s much easier with an acetone based polish to remove or you could use the peel off base from MUA and save yourself the trouble.
It is quite chip resistant because it’s a glitter polish. It does need a top coat if you want a high shine but I think it looks perfectly great without one.

Overall I love this polish. It’s a unique polish and nice and cheap.
