This month we do not have a video unboxing as I did not film at all in December due to real life issues. So instead we’re doing a post if you’d like to know what was in the box keep on reading.
What is it?
The Pink Parcel is a monthly subscription box designed to make that time of the month a little bit better.
What’s in it?
Every month you’ll receive your choice of pads or tampons from a variety of brands. You’ll always receive night pads because Toxic Shock is a thing.
The exciting bit is the ‘For You’ box. Pink Parcel promises you £40 of treats each month. Every month you’ll get a tea of a different variety to try and a sweet treat. The sweet treat is often chocolate and often vegan too! They’re always yummy (in my opinion) and sometimes are packed with superfoods too.
You’ll then always receive five other health, wellbeing and beauty items. These range from face masks to essential oils to lipsticks.
So What’s The Cost?
This UK based box costs £12.99 including postage. You can get it here from the Pink Parcel Website. This link is a referral link and will get you your first box for £9.99.
There are also subscription plans should you chose to take them up.
Decembers 2018 Box
This month is the Treat Yourself Edit.
This Month’s Heroes
Lord & Berry 20100 Maximate Crayon Lipstick in Here & Now.
Apply the creamy, long-lasting formula to create your statement lip for the festive season. Sunset red was a big hit on the AW18 catwalks and the easy-to-wear shade looks gorge on all skin tones. Worth £15 from the Pink Parcel shop.
There are two of these in your box, one for you to give away to someone you love.
Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator
Add radiance by mixing with foundation on the back on your hand or applying to bare skin after moisturising. The sheer formula works well with most skin tones and adds a natural-looking luminous glow that’s perfect for perking-up dull, lacklustre winter skin. Worth £22 from the Pink Parcel Shop
I have had this before from another box and it’s not the best. It’s also the 4th possibly the 5th cream highlighter/illuminator product from the Pink Parcel this year. Very disappointing.
OK! Cherry Lip Mask
Remove the hydrogel mask from the tray and apply to clean dry lips. Leave for up to 20 minutes to intensely hydrate and moisturise your pout. This K Beauty creation with wild cherry and violet extracts is perfect for prepping lips before lipstick. Worth £4.50 from the Pink Parcel shop.
Anatomicals The Leader of the Hair Pack
After shampooing and towel drying your hair, apply the mask liberally from root to tip and then seal the deal by tying your hair up in a bun and covering with a shower cap. Put your feet up while the jojoba oil enriched formula brings life back to dry and damaged locks. Worth £1 from the Pink Parcel Shop.
This is another repeat but this one is from June 2017’s box.
Balance Me Micellar Water
The first of two items not included on the card. This one was previously sent to us in July of 2018. I actually liked this sample so I’m okay having it again. This is a sample size, the full size is £16.
Dalmah Natural Infusions, Chocolate, Turmeric, Ginger & Almond Tea
Not much of a tea drinker? Try this blend. With rich flavours of chocolate, almond and a touch of ginger, this is a perfect cuppa for when you’re in the mood for something sweet and comforting but have already overdone it on the office treats. £2.19 for 20 bags from DalmahTea.co.uk
Candy Kittens
No information on this as it was not included on the card at all. They are Vegan and I know the RRP is £1. I can’t say I enjoyed these. The brand has previously been featured in August 2018.
Overall this box is a huge disappointment, not only are two of the items substituted but there’s no reason why or note to tell you about the replacements. On top of that the For Now bag is another repeat of a couple of months ago and on top of that, it was late by a whole week.
I’ve decided to cancel, which I’ll detail in a later post. However, if you’d still like one this UK based box costs £12.99 including postage. You can get it here from the Pink Parcel Website. This link is a referral link and will get you your first box for £9.99.
There are also subscription plans should you chose to take them up.
