Today we’re featuring two unusual colours from Rimmel in liquid lipstick form. I bought both of these back in August of 2017 but didn’t get around to really using them until recently. The colours we’re talking about are Pitch Black and Shadow.
Pitch Black is as the name suggest black. It’s a true black with a matte finish and is long wearing. I did find I need to dip my wand in more than once to get an opaque finish. it’s also got an oddly oily texture when first applying it.
Shadow is a true grey and is also in the long wearing matte finish. Shadow is opaque in one dip but you do need to be careful when applying.
They both dry down fairly quickly, Shadow dries quicker than Pitch Black, to a matte finish. Both are removed easily with oil, which means while they’ll outlast drinks they’ll come off with food. They’re slightly drying on the lips but not horribly so. I like these. They’re really good for a highstreet long wear lipstick.
They cost £5.99 each for 5.5ml and can be found online at Superdrug.
