So today we’re taking a look at two of the more sparkly versions. Disco Cherry and Frozen Cherry.
The bottle is short and stubby which is giving me retro vibes but I can’t think what from. The design is simple but again it feels a little off. There’s something about the new designs that just don’t feel finished.
It has a very nice does foot applicator that gets enough product out with one dip. It’s incredibly shiny.
It smells of sweet cherries and while you can smell it when it’s first applied it does start to fade. It is not sticky on the lips, which I adore as I hate sticky glosses so much.
Now I was hoping after the poor glitter showing of Cherry Slime that these would be better and boy I was not disappointed. They are both packed with glitter and they look amazing. Of course, the glitter does make them a little gritty but with any gloss with glitter in that’s to be expected.
So let’s look at the swatches
Disco Cherry is described as Irridescent rainbow and I’d say that’s true. You can see it better in real life, than in still photos.
Frozen Cherry is described as Sparkling Aqua and again I’d say that’s very true to life.
As glosses on their own they look very pretty. Disco Cherry would look great on top of other lipsticks bring a real sparkle to them. Frozen Cherry could be used on top of a contrasting colour to create a blue shift.
