Illamasqua’s Intense Lipgloss in Gender is the most glorious sky blue in colour. At £16.50 for a 7ml it’s not an impulse purchase but it certainly is worth the cost.
It’s more teal in person but sky blue is a nice descriptor. For most people, it’s not your everyday lip gloss. It would be fabulous for a Halloween or costume party.
It’s quite opaque but would be a much more solid colour when using a blue liner underneath. Occ’s Pool boy pencil would be perfect for this. The brush is a little large to apply precisely so a smaller brush will also help create cleaner lines.
It has good staying power for a gloss. It won’t survive a meal but a drink or two won’t shift it too much.
All in all, it’s a fabulous colour and worth the cost.
