Angel Heart Palette
This is the cooler sister to the Dragon Heart palette, full of hot pink and cool golden tones to make that new-tral eye you’ve been loving.
The box is made of cardboard with plastic on the inside. The outside is pink iridescent goodness, suitable for the Angel in your life. It closes with a magnetic tab so won’t come open easily in your bad while being easy to open when needed. There is no mirror on the inside.

There’s a mix of finishes in this palette, all of which are very pigmented. They have no names so, here they are next to my swatches.
- Beige matte finish
- Peach matte finish
- Deep brown satin finish
- Burgundy red with a pink shimmer
- Coral red matte finish
- Deep fuchsia with a slight shimmer
- Copper red satin finish
- Taupe with a gold shimmer
- Rose gold metallic finish
- Deep plum burgundy with a slight shimmer
- Deep brick brown with a slight shimmer
- Deep wine purple with a slight shimmer
Despite the strong red pigment here, this is a vegan palette. Now I am not sure but given the colour of this palette, I suspect a few of these shadows will not be eye-safe in the USA due to the use of Red Lake 7 & 28. No, it doesn’t mean they’re unsafe, it means they’ve not been passed by the FDA for use in America around the eyes. In the EU & UK, they have.
They’re all soft and blendable. I do also like there is a spread of cool and warm undertones in this, so it should work for everyone. I am a little disappointed in how similar a couple of shades are to one another. However, with the right technique, you could certainly pull a few good looks out of this one.
Heavenly Lip Gloss
Of the four lip glosses released with the palette, I chose Heavenly. It looked like a nice pink gloss. It’s neither of those things.
It’s not a gloss. It’s a liquid lipstick that dries down. The only thing kind of gloss like is the finish, as it dries with an exceptionally high shine and gives the appearance of gloss on the lips. It’s slightly pink toned but not anywhere near the same as the swatch on the revolution site. it’s also incredibly drying. When it comes to long wear lipsticks, I’ve found that people have very different reactions to how they dry down. These for me are very uncomfortable and drying.
ISODODECANE, ETHYLENE/PROPYLENE COPOLYMER, CALCIUM SODIUM BOROSILICATE, SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, DI-C20-40 ALKYL DIMER DILINOLEATE, FLAVOR, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, [+/- TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, 77499), RED 6 (CI 15850), RED 7 (CI 15850), TIN OXIDE (CI 77861), MICA (CI 77019)].
Personally, I can’t recommend the gloss. I really hate it on my lips. It’s a superb way to get a high gloss shine without the mess but I just can’t get on with how drying it is.
The palette I do love. It’s a smaller dupe for the LC Venus XL palette. It has a smaller range of colours but is a good option if you’re looking to try the XL palette out before buying it.
