So in the UK beanies are called bobble hats and since it’s been really cold recently, I’m a sucker for Lime Crime merchandise and it’s also cute I bought one.
$20 roughly converts to £16, depending on the market, so that’s a fair midrange price.
So what can I say about a hat? Well, this one is much thicker than I’d expected. It’s doubled layered so very thick and that makes it very warm. It’s a nice size too for my average-sized head. I won’t show you a picture of me in it because well, I don’t suit bobble hats. If you like to see me in it I’ve posted some to my personal Instagram.
What can I say? It’s a hat and I like it very much. It keeps my head warm and that’s what I need.
Peacock Velvetine
So I didn’t actually buy the new Peacock Velvetine as part of this release since I already have one. This is the original packaging for that release with the blue top.
I love the formula of the Velvetines. It’s no different with this one. It’s very smudge-proof, which is very important in colours like this. It’s also not drying and very long-lasting. There is usually a little transfer with this one, even after they’re dry and as a result will fade a little over the day.
Peacock is such a nice colour as well. It’s the perfect teal with great opacity. I really love this colour.
To conclude this post is full of good Lime Crime things. I’d recommend them both.
