As part of their 10th Birthday collection, Lime Crime released several unicorn lipsticks, some of which were new shades. They cost $18 each and are Vegan and Cruelty-Free. They have of 3.5g product and a 12-month self-life on opening.
As you can see I bought five of them. Heart Eyes, Doll House, Serpentina, Not Another Peach Lipstick and October. Serpentina is my only repurchase as I’d used my original one up. The others are all brand new colours.
For the record, I am very pale cool olive.
Super pigmented for maximum coverage. Infused flower extracts for smooth and comfy all-day wear. Iconic purple bullet packaging with our holographic unicorn.
The formula on these has changed slightly since the original lipsticks. It’s now slightly drier but still as pigmented and very comfortable to wear. They are all almost one swipe but it’s hard to get a good edge just going over your lips once. Although not impossible. They’ve got a good wear time but just like any lipstick will come off with food. Drinks, especially through a straw, won’t budge the colour.
Heart Eyes is a hot pink/red colour. I am head over heels for this colour. It’s bright and bold and great to wear.
Doll House is a bright fuchsia colour. Application is smooth and even.
Serpentina is metallic forest green. It’s lovely and opaque and by far my favourite unusual coloured lipstick.
Not another peach lipstick, is as the name suggests as peach lipstick. It’s got great coverage like the rest.
October is a pumpkin orange lipstick. Slightly cooler in tone I love the way this plays against my undertones.
I’ve always loved the formula of Lime Crime’s lipsticks and these are no different.
