That’s sometimes because they’re a ‘grey area’ brand. That means either I can not find an animal testing statement, it’s very vague or they sell in China. There is one other reason a company I would generally consider cruelty free will end up here, that’s because their parent company is either L’Oreal or Estee Lauder.
